Job summary

Kroger in Ann Arbor is seeking an enthusiastic Front-End team member to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain a safe and clean environment, and assist the department manager in achieving sales goals. You will help supervise front-end operations and support day-to-day functions in a fast-paced store.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Retail or Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome and valued by answering questions.
• Respond to questions about products and provide suggestions.
• Assist with monitoring and control of department expenses.
• Assist with cash control, sales and records for the store.
• Schedule Front-end associates to provide adequate department coverage.
• Assist store management in budgeting, P&L reviews and action on financial reports.
• Collaborate with Front-end associates to promote teamwork.
