Job summary

You will oversee daily front-end operations, assist in achieving sales and profit goals, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products sold within the department and store.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Assist with monitoring and control of department supply expenses.
• Assist with managing cash control, sales and cash items and records for the store.
• Manage scheduling of Front-end associates for adequate department coverage.
• Assist in budget preparation, P&L reviews and taking action on financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting and labor scheduling with store management.
• Develop and implement department action plans to achieve results.
• Collaborate with Front-end associates and promote teamwork.
• Display a positive attitude.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and temperature controls.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs.
• Notify management of accidents.
• Report safety risks or illegal activity.
