Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Front-end supervisor to create an outstanding customer experience and maintain a safe, clean store environment in Colorado. You will assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals, supervise Front-end associates, and support day-to-day operations while upholding company values.

You will help implement best practices, manage schedules and budgets, monitor quality standards, and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum: ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Retail or Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated.
• Know products well and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Monitor and control supply expenses for the department.
• Manage cash control, sales and cash records.
• Schedule Front-end associates to ensure coverage.
• Assist in budgets, P&L reviews, and financial reporting.
• Develop department action plans and collaborate with front-end team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and adapt to ads and seasonal changes.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain temperature logs.
• Report safety risks or issues to management.
