Job summary

Walmart Swansea is seeking a store leadership professional to supervise and develop hourly associates, hire and mentor staff, and oversee daily store operations. You will set clear expectations, provide feedback, and coordinate plans with stakeholders to meet customer needs and company goals.

Responsibilities include driving sales, managing budgets, implementing training programs, and ensuring adherence to policies while fostering a culture of belonging and excellent service.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Preferred qualifications include leadership experience supervising multiple direct reports, performance management, mentoring, hiring and firing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties and recognizing performance.
• Coordinate plans and initiatives with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs and promote a culture of belonging.
• Ensure compliance with policies and contribute to store operations, budgeting, staffing and achieving sales goals.

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U and Bellevue University)
