Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Dallas is hiring a Customer Service Desk/Front End Associate to assist customers, process sales, and uphold the company’s values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. You will operate the cash register, complete tender transactions, answer phones, maintain the checkstand area, and support ad hoc store tasks while delivering friendly service.

A high school diploma or GED and at least six months of cashier experience are required; weekend

Qualifications

• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk
• High school diploma or GED or combination of relevant education and experience
• Ability to pass drug test and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales.
• Perform cashier functions: open/close register, ring sales, tender transactions, bag merchandise, handle money drops.
• Complete file maintenance log for price discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area.
• Answer telephones and provide basic customer support.
• Comply with corporate policies and store initiatives.
• Verify Electronic Article Surveillance tags at point of sale and respond to pedestal activations.
