Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months cashier experience preferred for Customer Service Desk.
• Must be at least 18 (19 in some states for tobacco sales).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular weekend work and overtime as needed.
• Solid organizational and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of company policies and retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales at the service desk and checkout.
• Perform cashier duties: open/close register, ring sales, tender transactions, bag merchandise, manage money drops, learn produce codes.
• Maintain checkstand area cleanliness and follow housekeeping standards.
• Answer telephones and handle customer inquiries.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, transfers, bill pay, gift cards, and more.
• Provide lottery services and licenses where applicable; manage lost-and-found and faxes.
• Support store accounting functions and bank deposits as needed.
• Respond to security tags deactivation/removal and CCTV checks as required.
