The Kroger Co. is hiring for an entry-level customer service and cashier role at our Centerville, OH location. You will greet customers, process transactions at the checkout, and help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities include handling various tender types, following loss prevention practices, staying current with ads, and assisting with product inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Formación

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsabilidades

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the POS system and handle tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, offline SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons) according to policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and work to control loss.
• Adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations.
• Support safety programs and report hazards.
• Inspect equipment and report needed repairs.
• Create an inviting environment and answer product questions.
• Comply with laws and company guidelines.
• Work well in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively.
• Handle customer and business information with honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions and seek help when needed.
• Assist minors, people with special needs, and older adults as required.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Conocimientos
