Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Six months cashier experience.
• Must be 18+ (19+ in certain states for tobacco).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Weekend availability required.
• Organize and prioritize tasks.
• Know company policies.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions: open/close register, ring sales, tender transactions, bag merchandise, and money drops.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area.
• Answer telephones and comply with policies.
• Process refunds, exchanges, and gift cards at the Customer Service Desk.
• Provide lottery and license services where applicable.
• Handle lost and found and assist in a cooperative, nonconfrontational manner.
