Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or combination of relevant education and experience.
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Minimum 18 years of age (19 in some states if selling tobacco).
• Ability to pass drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends on a regular basis, work any shift and work overtime as needed.
• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects.
• Accuracy/attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales at the checkstand.
• Perform cashier functions including opening/closing register and tender transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area and handle price discrepancies.
• Answer telephones and provide customer service desk support.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, gift cards, and other desk services.
• Provide lottery service and licenses where allowed, send/receive faxes, manage lost and found.
• Run vendor reports and maintain cooperative teamwork in a high-paced environment.
