Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and coach others.
• Cashier duties: open/close register, ring sales, tender transactions, bag items.
• Maintain price discrepancy logs.
• Keep checkstand clean according to standards.
• Answer telephones promptly.
• Follow corporate policies.
• Promote company initiatives.
• Verify EAS tags are deactivated at sale.
• Respond to EAS pedestal activations when needed.
• Maintain store accounting functions.
• Prepare bank deposits of excess funds.
• Open and close the customer service desk.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, transfers, bill pay, gift cards.
• Provide lottery service and licenses as allowed.
• Send/receive faxes.
• Manage lost and found.
• Run vendor reports.
• Work well in a fast-paced environment and handle conflicts calmly.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer data.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
