Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a front-line associate to assist customers, process sales, and maintain a clean service desk. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Must be 18+ (19+ in some states) if selling tobacco; ability to pass drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales at the service desk and checkstand.
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold company core values.
• Perform cashier functions including open/close register and tender transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the checkstand area and handle price discrepancies.
• Answer telephones and support lost and found as needed.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, bill pay, gift cards, and transfers.
• Provide lottery service and issue licenses where allowed; run vendor reports.
