Food Lion is seeking a Front End Customer Service Associate to deliver fast, friendly service at the register and throughout the front end. You will greet customers, assist with bagging, and ensure accurate transactions and cash handling while upholding Food Lion standards.

The role emphasizes courteous interactions, proper appearance in uniform, and adherence to safety and store policies to create a positive shopping experience for every guest.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsabilidades

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use their name whenever possible.
• Unload groceries from cart to belt for easier bagging and grouping.
• Check the bottom of every cart and under baby seats for items before completing an order.
• Follow correct bagging procedures for bag types.
• Scan orders and handle payment transactions per standard practice.
• Maintain cash control and follow refund procedures.
