Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a polite, professional manner.
• Follow checkout procedures to ensure accuracy of transactions.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register.
• Bag merchandise and assist customers with their carts.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and handle payments (cash, checks, cards, coupons).
• Adhere to store policies for tobacco and alcohol sales and safety guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to answer questions.
• Follow sanitation, cleaning schedules, and PPE guidelines for the department.
