Weis Markets is looking for a Part-Time Associate in Maryland to greet customers, operate the front end, and handle checkout with accuracy and care. You will follow store policies, assist in other departments as needed, and participate in keeping the department clean and compliant with health and safety standards.

The role offers part-time hours with a pay range starting at $15.30 per hour and going up to $22.00, plus a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.
• Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register, bags merchandise, and assists customers.
• Maintains accuracy during transactions and ensures proper funds are collected and secured.
• Follows policies regarding tobacco and alcohol sales and uses proper cash drawer procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, promotions and store layout to answer questions.
• Supports department sanitation and adheres to health and OSHA requirements.
