Job summary

Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a Customer Experience Associate in Callaway, MD to greet customers, operate checkout, and help maintain a clean, organized department. You’ll follow store policies to ensure accurate transactions and high service standards.

The role requires no prior experience; a High School Diploma or GED is acceptable. Training covers safety rules, PPE, and cooperation with team members to assist in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions, and resolves concerns politely.
• Operates front end checkout, scans, bags merchandise, and assists customers.
• Ensures correct charges and collects payments securely, following cash handling rules.
• Maintains knowledge of ads, promotions, and store layout to assist customers.
• Performs general sanitation and keeps work areas clean and health-compliant.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to keep store functioning smoothly.
• Follows PPE usage and may assist in other departments.
