You’ll operate the front-end scanner and cash register, bag items, and ensure accurate checkout and compliance with store policies. The role emphasizes maintaining cleanliness, following safety guidelines, and cooperating with teammates to provide a smooth shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions in a polite, professional manner.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register, bag merchandise.
• Maintain accuracy in transactions and follow cash handling procedures.
• Follow store policies on tobacco and alcohol sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department.
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Use PPE as required and assist in other departments as needed.
