Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, or relevant education and experience
• Six months cashier experience for Customer Service Desk roles
• Minimum 18 years of age (19 in Idaho and Alaska if selling tobacco)
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work weekends, any shift, and overtime as needed
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks/projects
• Accuracy and attention to detail

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure
• Related retail experience

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering excellent customer service and encouraging others to do the same
• Performing cashier functions: opening/closing register, ringing sales, handling transactions, bagging merchandise, making money drops, knowing produce codes
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of checkstand area
• Answering telephones and complying with all policies
• Promoting company initiatives and verifying electronic article surveillance tags

Store accounting duties include maintaining store functions and preparing bank deposits.

Customer Service Desk duties include opening/closing the desk, processing refunds, exchanges, money orders, bill pay, gift cards, and providing lottery and license services. Ability to work cooperatively in high-paced and stressful environments, manage conflicts, act with honesty and integrity, follow directions, and support vulnerable populations are essential. Must be able to perform these functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
