A Cashier is responsible for providing service that exceeds customer expectations by performing duties such as:
Cashiers should provide exceptional customer service, following policies that go beyond basic greetings. They should have a positive attitude, treat others with respect, and adapt easily to workplace changes.
High school diploma or GED required.
Cashiers must stand for long periods, walk, reach, bend, and frequently use their wrists and hands. They may need to lift up to 50 pounds and should have effective communication skills. Visual acuity for close and color vision is necessary.
