Job summary

Heinen's Grocery Store in Ohio is seeking a Retail Professional to support our Diamond Difference standards. You will operate scanners, assist customers, and maintain accurate pricing while delivering exceptional service.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and adherence to safety standards. You should be comfortable standing for long periods, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs, and working a variety of shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sense of urgency and the ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
• Comply with all company policies and standards.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Be production driven with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Willing to work the non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday and evenings.

• Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate.
• Follow all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards or the purchase of specific items, such as alcohol.
• Follow company standards for proper packing.
• Acquire and share knowledge of the store.
• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
