Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Receptionist to support a designated office with welcoming visitors, handling calls, scheduling rooms, and performing clerical tasks. You will greet clients and visitors, issue passes, manage mail and packages, arrange catering and technology equipment, and ensure security protocols are followed; strong organization and MS Office skills are required.

This role supports the Workplace Experience team at CBRE and requires applicants to be authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
  • Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and basic math for simple calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel and voicemail.
  • Greet clients, applicants, and visitors; issue visitor passes and parking validations; follow security protocols.
  • Schedule and prepare meeting and conference rooms; arrange catering and tech equipment.
  • Perform general clerical duties including distributing faxes, packages and ordering office supplies.
  • Track incoming/outgoing mail and freight; arrange messenger service and hospitality for guests.
