Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking aReceptionist-style staff member to greet visitors, beneficiaries, and others while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor, representative of the Salvation Army. The center switchboard will be operated as part of the role, with a starting payrate of $15.97/hour for a full-time 40-hour work week.

Payrate may advance to $16.37/hour; flexibility in schedule is required, and adherence to Administration's record-keeping

Qualifications

• Greeting visitors and assessing their needs to route to staff.
• Maintaining required administration records.
• Assisting with training and supervising beneficiaries in Reception.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and ascertain the nature of their business, routing to staff via phone or in person.
• Keep records as required by Administration.
• Assist with training and supervision of beneficiaries in the Reception Office.
• Be available for a flexible schedule as needed.
• Document starting payrate and full-time status as described.
