• Greet guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance per Avion Hospitality standards.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming in uniform.
• Comply with Avion Hospitality standards and safety regulations.
• Be friendly and warm at all times and set the standard for guest relations at the Front Desk.
• Collect all required information for room reservations.
• Monitor VIP and special guest requests.
• Review Front Office logs daily and manage the front desk system.
• Ensure timely logging and delivery of messages, packages, and mail.
• Be aware of current rates, packages, and promotions; know in-house groups.
• Understand all in-house policies and procedures; assist training as needed.
• Oversee check-in/out processes; ensure efficiency and courtesy.
• Maintain PBX operations and cross-department communication.
• Participate in department meetings and planning; support budget goals.

Ausbildung

At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field is required.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

College course work in related field helpful.

Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.

Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.

Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.

Must be able to work well in stressful, high pressure situations, including ability to handle guest objections and disputes to satisfactory results.
