Job description

The Atlanta Evergreen Resort, Stone Mountain, has an immediate opening for an energetic, outgoing, customer service-oriented individual to supervise the daily operations of the Front Desk staff. The role aims to maximize revenues and profits while attaining optimal guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication, and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
  2. Respond to guests’ special requests, needs, problems, issues, and concerns; accommodate groups to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.
  3. Implement company programs and supervise the daily operations of the Front Desk to comply with SOPs and LSOPs, maximize revenues, and motivate staff to ensure high-quality service and hospitality.
  4. Supervise Guest Service Agents.
  5. Remain calm and alert during emergency situations or heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model. Resolve customer complaints by researching the situation and determining effective solutions. Make decisions based on experience and good judgment, revising approaches as needed. Authorize revenue allowances after exploring alternatives.
  6. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  7. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least one year of experience as a Front Desk Supervisor.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings, and holidays.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of Opera PMS system is a plus.
