Job summary

Tyler Presley Salon in West Delray Beach is seeking a friendly Front Desk & Social Media Assistant to join our busy, upscale team. You will welcome clients, manage inquiries, and coordinate appointments in a fast-paced salon environment.

You will also help capture and organize social-media content, promote services, and support stylists. The role requires smartphone photo/video skills and familiarity with Instagram. Compensation is $20-$24 per hour, full-time.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in a hair salon preferred.
• Proficient with smartphone photography and basic Instagram familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and set a positive first impression.
• Answer phones, texts and inquiries professionally.
• Schedule, reschedule and confirm appointments.
• Assist with check-in and checkout and process payments.
• Promote salon products and services; assist clients.
• Keep reception and retail areas organized and clean.
• Support stylists and salon management as needed.
• Handle client concerns professionally.
• Identify clients for before-and-after transformation opportunities.
• Take quality before-and-after photos and short videos of services.
• Capture behind-the-scenes salon content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Organize photos/videos for use by social-media/content team.
• Help promote salon packages, services, products and events.
