Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Reception Officer in Omaha, NE. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service at a logistics and distribution site.

The role offers a flexible schedule and the ability to explore new roles through our Claim a Shift platform. Minimum requirements include 6 months of security experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Background histories will be considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, verifying access, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining records.
• Monitor access points, calls, alarms, and cameras; report suspicious activity to site contacts and leadership.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies following site procedures in a calm, professional manner.
• Support the flow of visitors, vendors, and deliveries while deterring unauthorized access.
