Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Reception Officer in Omaha, NE. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service at a logistics and distribution site.

The role offers a flexible schedule and the ability to explore new roles through our Claim a Shift platform. Minimum requirements include 6 months of security experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Background histories will be considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor and delivery records.
• Monitor access points, incoming calls, alarms, and cameras as assigned, reporting suspicious activity or access concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Support the orderly flow of visitors, vendors, and deliveries while helping to deter unauthorized access to the facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
