Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Lobby Security in Omaha, NE. You’ll greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and support a professional, secure environment while delivering excellent customer service.

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will use our systems to document security information, respond calmly to incidents, and collaborate with site leadership to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, associates, and vendors by following site-specific access-control procedures and front-desk policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry activity, verify credentials as directed, issue visitor badges and/or maintain visitor logs, and communicate arrivals to appropriate personnel.
• Answer phones, direct inquiries, and provide general site information while maintaining a professional and welcoming front-desk presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document security-related incidents, access concerns, and daily activities accurately, and promptly report unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
