Job summary

Allied Universal in El Paso, TX invites you to join as a Security Officer Information Desk. You will be the welcoming front desk presence for tenants, visitors, and staff, manage access, verify IDs, issue visitor credentials, and monitor lobby activity and security systems.

This full-time role pays $13.50 per hour with day shifts, and requires aged 18+ (21+ for armed), a high school diploma, background check, drug screen where permitted, and applicable licenses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background investigation required
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws
• Driver's license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Monitor building access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency communication procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, delivery, and incident records while supporting a welcoming and professional lobby environment.
