Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Reception Desk in Dallas, TX. You will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence at a commercial real estate front desk, managing access and monitoring security systems to help create a secure environment.

The role involves coordinating with tenants and visitors, responding to inquiries, and enforcing site procedures. Pay is $17.98 per hour with a set daytime shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) years old; HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law; licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional first point of contact for tenants, visitors, contractors, and prospective clients at a commercial real estate front desk.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying IDs, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining sign-in records per procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and systems; report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and service requests calmly, following emergency procedures.
• Deliver strong customer service by answering calls, directing visitors, and supporting security policies.
