Job summary

Comstock in Washington, DC is seeking a Concierge to manage the front desk and ensure the building operates in line with company policy and client expectations. You will handle access control, assist guests, compile daily reports, monitor safety, and coordinate opening/closing of the facility while maintaining strong relationships with tenants and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 2 years in customer service, and a valid DCJS security certification or the ability to

Qualifications

High School Diploma.
Minimum 2 years’ customer-service experience.
Valid DCJS-certified security officer or able to obtain within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

Access control for guests, tenants, and vendors.
Provide elevator and door assistance to all guests.
Provide customer service and assistance to clients, customers, and visitors.
Daily activity report, access control reports, and incident reports daily.
Observation and reporting of all safety concerns.
Patrol the common areas.
Directly oversees all day-to-day activities associated with opening, managing, and closing the facility.
Ensures the facility’s safety and security by reviewing maintenance checklists and conducting periodic safety audits.
Resolves customer concerns escalated to front-line staff.
Completes Incident Forms and conducts incident investigations.
Uses software applications to record and track work.
Performs other duties as assigned.
