Job summary

Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer: Concierge to manage the front desk at the company’s office building lobby. You will ensure operations align with policy and client expectations while delivering professional service.

You will handle access control, escort guests, maintain incident records, and monitor safety. The role requires a valid license and security certification with the ability to work after hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer-service related job.
• Valid driver’s license without major violations.
• Certified security professional (VA Unarmed Security Officer/Courier, aka DCJS) or obtain within 60 days.
• Outgoing, reliable, and able to relate to diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk access for guests, tenants, and vendors.
• Provide elevator and door assistance to guests.
• Deliver customer service and assist clients and visitors.
• Produce daily activity, access control, and incident reports.
• Observe and report safety concerns and conduct safety audits as directed.
