Job summary

Comstock in Washington, DC is seeking a Full Time Security Officer to manage the front desk in the office building lobby. This role ensures the facility operates per company policy and client expectations, handling access control and guest services.

Responsibilities include daily reports, safety audits, incident investigations, and strict adherence to the Safety Manual. Requires customer-service background and DCJS certification or eligibility within 60 days of start. Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer-service.
• Valid driver's license without major violations.
• Certified security professional (VA Unarmed Security Officer) or will obtain within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Access control for guests, tenants, and vendors.
• Provide elevator assistance and door assistance to all guests.
• Provide customer service and assistance to clients, customers, and visitors.
• Daily activity, access control, and incident reports.
• Observation and reporting of all safety concerns.
• Patrol the common areas and ensure security of the facility.
