Job summary

Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. is seeking a Security Concierge for the Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm shift at our Silver Spring, Maryland location. The role manages the front desk to ensure safety and service aligned with company policy and client expectations.

You will perform access control, assist visitors and tenants, generate daily reports, and support facility operations while upholding integrity and customer-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer-service related role.
• Valid driver's license without major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed.
• Must be a certified security professional (VA Unarmed Security Officer/Courier, aka DCJS) or obtain certification within 60 days of start/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Access control for guests, tenants, and vendors.
• Provide elevator and door assistance to all guests.
• Deliver customer service to clients, customers, and visitors.
• Generate daily activity, access control, and incident reports.
• Observe and report safety concerns.
• Patrol common areas.
• Oversee opening, managing, and closing facility operations.
• Review maintenance checklists and conduct safety audits per policy.
• Resolve customer concerns escalated to front-line staff.
• Complete incident forms and investigations as directed.
• Record and track work using required software.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
