Job summary

Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. is seeking a Security Concierge for Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm, in Silver Spring, MD. The role ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, tenants, and guests.

Responsibilities include patrolling the property, controlling access, reporting safety concerns, maintaining plaza areas, and assisting guests and vendors. A high school diploma and a current security officer certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be a certified security officer in Virginia.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-service experience.
• Valid driver's license with no major violations.
• Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.
• Outgoing, credible, and trustworthy with strong integrity.
• Excellent communication and organizatio nal skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Provide access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Ensure no property is being damaged and observe for safety concerns.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around the building.
• Issue notices and maintain ban documentation as required.
• Report any concerns to management and communicate with guests.
