Comstock Companies is seeking a Security Officer: Concierge to manage the front desk for the office building lobby, ensuring operations align with company policy and client expectations. The role emphasizes access control, customer service, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include daily reports, safety audits, incident investigations, and coordination with security and facilities teams to maintain a secure, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2 years' experience in customer-service
• Valid driver’s license without major violations
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends
• Must be a certified security professional (VA Unarmed Security Officer/Courier, aka DCJS) or obtain certification within 60 days of start date
• Outgoing personality with ability to relate to diverse groups of people
• Strong sense of urgency
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Manage access control for guests, tenants, and vendors
• Provide elevator and door assistance to all guests
• Deliver customer service to clients and visitors
• Prepare daily activity, access control, and incident reports
• Observe and report safety concerns
• Patrol common areas and oversee opening/closing of the facility
• Review maintenance checklists and conduct safety audits
• Resolve customer concerns escalated to front-line staff
• Complete incident forms and investigations
• Use software to record and track work
• Perform other duties as assigned
