Job summary

Comstock in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a Security Concierge for the office building lobby, Monday–Friday 7am–3pm. The role oversees front desk operations, access control for guests and vendors, and delivers customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work under the Safety Manual, handle incident reporting, and collaborate with facilities staff to maintain a safe, welcoming building for tenants and visitors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer-service related job.
• Certified security professional (VA Unarmed Security Officer/Courier, aka DCJS) by the state of Virginia or will be required to obtain certification within 60 days of start /transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Access control for guests, tenants, and vendors.
• Provide elevator assistance and door assistance to all guests.
• Provide customer service and assistance to clients, customers, and visitors.
• Daily activity report, access control reports, and incident reports daily.
• Observation and reporting of all safety concerns.
• Patrol the common areas.
• Oversee opening, managing, and closing the facility daily.
• Ensure safety and security per Safety Manual.
