Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Visitor Check In Desk in Los Angeles, CA to safeguard visitors and staff and maintain a welcoming, secure environment on campus.

You will manage visitor access, screen entrants, monitor entry points and cameras, respond to incidents calmly, and coordinate with campus personnel and emergency responders as needed. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communications systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or concerns.
• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing campus information, and coordinating with school personnel and emergency responders as needed.
