Gold's Gym in Florida is hiring for a Front Desk Associate to greet members and guests, manage check-ins, and provide excellent customer service. The role includes handling phone inquiries, directing guests to fitness consultants, and performing light administrative tasks as directed by management.

Responsibilities include processing sales, attending staff meetings, and maintaining a professional appearance and conduct.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Understanding of basic cash processing procedures.
• Functional computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.

Aufgaben

• Greet members and guests promptly and direct them to the proper area.
• Provide security and control at the front door and retail area.
• Check members in using standard procedures.
• Monitor check-ins and notify supervisor of delinquent accounts.
• Register guests and direct them to the appropriate fitness consultant.
• Answer phones professionally and take messages.
• Handle inquiries and transfer calls to the right staff.
• Ensure proper follow-up on telephone inquiries to confirm bookings.
• Maintain a neat appearance and wear uniform with nametag.
• Distribute keys, towels and other materials as needed.
• Process retail and concession sales.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in gym walk-throughs.
• Follow opening and closing procedures and report safety concerns.
• Log maintenance issues and incidents for management.
