Job summary

Navy Region Hawaii Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a Front Desk Associate for the Unaccompanied Housing operation at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. You will perform front desk and reservation duties for the lodging program, with emphasis on welcoming guests and ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes.

Training is provided. Responsibilities include handling reservations, cash transactions, reporting, and maintaining secure guest information while delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

• 6 months of work experience in hospitality operations is preferred.
• Must be skilled with a personal computer and software applications.
• Must have basic math and reading skills and clear written and spoken English.
• Ability to handle, control, and account for cash.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telephones and take reservations.
• Check guests in and out of the hotel.
• Serve as point of contact for guest inquiries at the front desk.
• Manage room inventory via PMS to maximize utilization.
• Process group reservations and reporting requests.
• Reconcile room revenue through PMS and secure payments.
