Job summary

CommWell Health seeks an Enrollment Counselor to verify patient benefits, enter charges, collect payments, and guide uninsured patients toward government insurance options. You will also conduct outreach to diverse families for enrollment, supporting a mission-driven team delivering care close to home in rural North Carolina.

The role emphasizes CAC certification, a clean driving record, and preferred degrees with 3 years in health, dental, or behavioral health settings.

Qualifications

• CAC obtained prior to November 1st annually, if needed.
• Clean driving record with NC driver’s license and corporate vehicle insurance approval.
• HS Diploma/GED.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Three years’ medical, dental, or behavioral health experience preferred.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• CAC (Certified Applications Counselor) obtained prior to November 1st Annually, if needed.
• Clean driving record with current NC driver’s license and approved by corporate vehicle insurance vendor for driving privileges
• HS Diploma/GED

Preferred:

• Associate degree in a related field
• Three (3) years’ medical, dental, or behavioral health experience
