Job summary

CommWell Health in Selma, North Carolina is seeking a dedicated physician to provide direct outpatient primary care in our rural communities. You will diagnose, treat, and document per protocols, manage chronic conditions, and order labs or imaging as needed to support patient outcomes.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, mentor colleagues, and participate in ongoing education and quality initiatives within a mission-driven practice that values patient-centered care close to home.

Qualifications

  • BLS certification required.
  • Full, valid licensure to practice medicine in NC.
  • National certification required or encouraged.

What You'll Do
  • Provide direct outpatient primary care, including diagnosis, treatment, and documentation per protocols.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • BLS Certificate from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Full, valid licensure to practice medicine by the NC Board of Medical Examiners
  • National certification

Preferred:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience
  • Experience with underserved or rural populations
  • Familiarity with team-based care or PCMH/PCHH models
