Job summary

Optima Medical is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our Arizona-based team. You will verify insurance, collect copays, answer phones, schedule appointments, and maintain patient information using EMR.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in medical front office or customer service, strong communication, and detail orientation. HS diploma or GED required; team-oriented, multitasker, and energetic to support a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year medical front office experience (preferred).
• 1 year customer service experience (required).
• Experience with EMR software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage
• Collect past due balances and copayments upon check-in
• Answer phones and relay messages
• Confirm patient appointments
• Schedule initial and follow-up appointments
• Input/Update patient information, including insurance
