Frontiers International Travel is seeking a friendly and organized Part-Time Front Desk Receptionistto be our company's first point of contact. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming phone calls, taking accurate messages, and efficiently relaying information. Other responsibilities include providing support with office stock and supplies, and potentially assisting with trip research and document creation. This position offers a consistent part-time schedule with the possibility of additional hours to cover for other team members.

Responsibilities (Main):

  • Professionally and promptly answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Accurately take and distribute phone messages in a timely manner.
  • Provide general information to callers and visitors.
  • Assist with maintaining adequate levels of office supplies, including monitoring inventory and notifying the appropriate personnel when supplies need to be ordered.
  • Support the organization and stocking of common areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned.

Responsibilities (Secondary):

  • Assist with researching travel arrangements as needed.
  • Assist with creating and formatting client-facing documents as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, word processing).
  • A positive and professional demeanor.
  • Reliability and punctuality.

Schedule:

  • Option 1 (Preferred): Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
  • Option 2 (Can be discussed): Monday and Tuesday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
  • Additional hours may be available to cover for other staff absences if desired.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly rate: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, commensurate with skill set experience.
  • Eligibility to participate in the company's 401(k) program.
