Job summary

Embassy Suites Anchorage is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to greet guests, check them in and out, and set the tone for a memorable stay.

You will handle guest questions, coordinate with other departments, and assist with reservations while maintaining professional phone etiquette and accurate cash handling. The role requires evenings, weekends and holiday availability, and physical ability to stand and lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Must be able to stand for a full shift and lift at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure friendly, efficient and error-free check-in and check-out.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Answer questions about local area and facilities and provide directions.
• Demonstrate proper phone etiquette, take messages and handle reservations.
• Post and reconcile charges on guest receipts.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork across departments.
