Job summary

Embassy Suites Anchorage is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first and last impression for guests, handling check-in/check-out, requests, and inquiries with courtesy and efficiency.

You will coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs, manage phone calls and reservations, and uphold cash handling procedures while contributing to a positive guest experience across a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Stand for an entire shift and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure friendly, efficient, error-free check-in/out for guests.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest requests in a fast-paced setting.
• Provide information about local area and facilities to guests.
• Demonstrate proper phone etiquette including transfers and messages.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork across departments.
