Job summary

Select Medical in Indianapolis is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, and schedule visits at the front desk. You will handle co-pays, verify insurance, and coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role is full-time, weekdays, with a competitive $16.00–$20.00 per hour pay, and benefits for full-time staff. Join a team dedicated to exceptional patient care at our outpatient therapy centers.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and upcoming appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain communication with attorneys, insurance and translation companies, market leaders, and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
