Job summary

Embrace Health Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. You will manage front desk operations, register patients, verify eligibility, collect co-pays, and coordinate appointment logistics in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, knowledge of HIPAA, and comfortable using EMR systems and MS Office. Spanish or Creole is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related duties experience.
• Good understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Open front office area by 8:30am and greet patients and visitors.
• Register new and established patients for services and verify information.
• Verify eligibility and benefits for services during registration.
• Collect co-payments according to sliding fee/visit policies.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; reschedule as needed.
• Answer calls, provide information, and route inquiries appropriately.
• Review and balance daily cash and journal reports.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with medical records requests and EMR entries.
