Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a patient services professional for its Massachusetts locations. You will register and schedule patients, input demographics and insurance data, verify coverage, and manage calls related to patient care.

Responsibilities include check-in/out, updating records, collecting co-pays, and supporting diagnostic scheduling. A high school diploma and basic office skills are required, with HIPAA knowledge valued.

Qualifications

• One-year medical office, call center or related experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance regulations and medical terminology.
• Excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Registering and scheduling patients, data entry of demographics and insurance information.
• Verify patient insurance and referrals where available; manage calls from patients.
• Check in/out patients, update demographics and collect co-payments.
• Maintain appointment scheduling and input information into the system.
• Assist with patient history forms, consent forms and payment contracts.
