Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years medical billing or physician office experience.
• EHR system experience required.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Experience with NextGen or Athena systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of inbound calls and handling voicemails and mail.
• Schedule patient appointments according to defined protocols.
• Inform patients about appointment details and locations; address questions.
• Maintain understanding of services provided by clinicians at each location.
• Navigate healthcare platforms to assist patients promptly.
• Greet patients on arrival and verify demographics, insurance, and referrals.
• Post payments and handle billing and end-of-day closing procedures.
• Travel to other WSUPG clinic locations as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining patient privacy.
