Job summary

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a Patient Services Representative to greet patients, register them for services, collect co-pays, and coordinate appointments in a fast-paced ambulatory setting in Voorhees Township, NJ.

The role requires strong communication, computer literacy, and knowledge of medical insurances. Prior medical environment experience is preferred; training with IDX is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Proficiency with computers and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and guests using AIDET and manages reception responsibilities.
• Performs full patient registration, updates demographics, insurance information and verifies data.
• Collects co-pays and processes payments; reconciles cash drawer daily.
• Performs outreach via MyChart messaging, pool calls and confirmation messages.
• Schedules appointments across the care continuum and coordinates refills as needed.
• Utilizes kiosks/tablets to assist patients on arrival and supports discharge coordination.
